The first activity of the project was to make needs assessment in order to understand our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; thus having a roadmap to see where we are and where to go. In August 2016, a consultancy firm conducted a research by using both qualitative and quantitative methods on our 16 companies and by talking face to face. Thanks to this research, our group developed a clear vision on which markets to focus, and what tools /technologies are necessary to increase our competitiveness. Especially, they got a chance to research and evaluate the general situation of the natural stone design sector in Turkey and all over the world by the final report of needs assessment
